If you are wanting to learn how to play Celtic flute I highly recommend starting with this flute. It is easier to play and is much cheaper than starting with the traditional wooden one. They are very durable. Take them hiking, camping etc. Actually I never leave home without one, so I can play whenever I have a spare moment. After making these flutes I personally play them to test pitch and ease of playability. These are cross blow flutes and are easy to learn.
